Jonathan Doyle & Joel Paterson
Another Someday Blues
acoustic duets from Chicago
These tracks were recorded in early October in Chicago with my longtime friend and collaborator Joel Paterson. The songs on this record are the result of a single day in the studio spent improvising and creating arrangements on the fly. The material is a mix of traditional jazz, blues, and pop songs with some of my originals, as well as two songs that are ad-lib. This album marks our first recording project as a duo, and my hope is that it conveys the natural ease and camaraderie of that day in the studio.
